first_imgJanuary 25, 20180 Comments Flight attendant ordered to pay model $101,000 for spilling boiling hot noodle soup on her private parts An Asiana Airlines flight attendant has been ordered to pay a model more than $101,000 over burns from spilt instant noodle soup.A model has been awarded $101,928 for injures incurred on a flight from Seoul to Paris.The model, identified only by her last name Chang, was travelling in Business Class with Asiana Airlines when a flight attendant allegedly accidentally knocked over a tray of ramen dishes.The scalding soup caused Chang extreme second and third-degree burns on her abdomen, thigh and private parts.Following several operations, Chang claims she still hasn’t recovered from her injuries.“Even after years of skin transplant surgery, I cannot fully recover,” she said. “The burn to the core is also affecting my relationship with my husband. I was also told that it can cause danger if I get pregnant.”Chang claims the plane did not have adequate emergency supplies to treat her burns, forcing her to rely on a bag of ice, ointment and pain relief tablets until they reached Paris.However, the airline argued that it was the passenger who accidentally knocked over the tray of ramen dishes, not the flight attendant.The Seoul District Court ruled in favour of Chang and ordered the flight attendant and Asiana Airlines to jointly pay her 109.6 million won settlement.center_img Bloglast_img read more
